The revised Gold Futures Contract of Shanghai Futures Exchange has been accepted by the Shanghai Futures Exchange Board of Directors and reported to the China Securities Regulatory Commission. The revised Gold Futures Contract of Shanghai Futures Exchange shall take effect since May 17th, 2021.

The gold ingots that conforms to the revised Gold Futures Contract of Shanghai Futures Exchange and its attachments can be used for physical delivery from May 17th, 2021. The gold ingots that conforms to the specifications of National Standard GB/T 4134-2003 cannot be used for physical delivery, and the existing standard warrants can still be used for physical delivery.

Please visit the official website of SHFE for the Chinese version. If there is any discrepancy between the English version and the Chinese version, the Chinese version shall prevail.
