Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) has announced the following trading schedule during national holidays for year 2019:
1. New Year’s Day: SHFE closes on holidays from December 30, 2018 (Sunday) to January 1, 2019 (Tuesday). It also closes on December 29, 2018 (Saturday) and opens as usual on January 2, 2019 (Wednesday). There is no continuous trading on December 28, 2018 (Friday).
2. Spring Festival: SHFE closes on holidays from February 4, 2019 (Monday) to February 10, 2019 (Sunday). It also closes on February 2, 2019 (Saturday) to February 3, 2019 (Sunday). It opens as usual on February 11, 2019 (Monday). There is no continuous trading on February 1, 2019 (Friday).
3. Qingming Festival (The Tomb-Sweeping Day): SHFE closes on April 5, 2019 (Friday). It also closes from April 6, 2019 (Saturday) to April 7, 2019 (Sunday). It opens as usual on April 8, 2019 (Monday). There is no continuous trading on April 4, 2019 (Thursday).
4. The International Workers’ Day: SHFE closes on May 1, 2019 (Wednesday) and opens as usual on May 2, 2019 (Thursday). There is no continuous trading on April 30, 2019 (Tuesday).
5. The Dragon Boat Festival: SHFE closes on holidays on June 7, 2019 (Friday). It also closes from June 8, 2019 (Saturday) to June 9, 2019 (Sunday). It opens as usual on June 10, 2019 (Monday). There is no continuous trading on June 6, 2019 (Thursday).
6. The Mid-Autumn Festival: SHFE closes on holidays on September 13, 2019 (Friday). It also closes from September 14, 2019 (Saturday) to September 15, 2019 (Sunday). It opens as usual on September 16, 2019 (Monday). There is no continuous trading on September 12, 2019 (Thursday).
7. The National Day: SHFE closes on holidays from October 1, 2019 (Tuesday) to October 7, 2019 (Monday). It also closes on September 29, 2019 (Sunday) and October 12, 2019 (Saturday). It opens as usual on October 8, 2019 (Tuesday). There is no continuous trading on September 30, 2019 (Monday).
     All concerning parties and investors shall make corresponding arrangements as per this schedule, adopt effective measures for risk management and jointly safeguard smooth and sound market operation.
