Announcement on Trading Schedule during National Holidays for Year 2018

The following trading schedule during national holidays for year 2018 is hereby announced by Shanghai Futures Exchange, or the Exchange, pursuant to the Circular on Issues Concerning the Holiday Schedule for Year 2018 (ZJBF [2017] No.84) issued by the General Office of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, or the CSRC:

1. The New Year’s Day: The Exchange closes on Saturday, December 30, 2017 and Sunday, December 31,  2017 (weekend). It closes on Monday, January 1, 2018 (holiday) and opens as usual on Tuesday, January 2, 2018. There is no continuous trading on the Friday night of December 29,  2017.

2. The Spring Festival: The Exchange closes on holidays from Thursday, February 15, 2018 to Wednesday, February 21, 2018. It closes on Sunday, February 11, 2018 and Saturday, February 24, 2018 (weekend) and opens as usual on Thursday, February 22, 2018. There is no continuous trading on the Wednesday night of February 14, 2018.

3. The Tomb-sweeping Day: The Exchange closes on holidays from Thursday, April 5, 2018 to Saturday, April 7, 2018. It closes on Sunday, April 8, 2018 (weekend) and opens as usual on Monday, April 9, 2018. There is no continuous trading on the Wednesday night of April 4, 2018. 

4. The Labor Day: The Exchange closes on holidays from Sunday, April 29, 2018 to Tuesday, May 1, 2018. It closes on Saturday, April 28,2018 (weekend) and opens as usual on Wednesday, May 2, 2018. There is no continuous trading on the Friday night of April 27, 2018.

5. The Dragon Boat Festival: The Exchange closes on Monday, June 18, 2018 (holiday). It also closes from Saturday, June 16, 2018 to Sunday, June 17, 2018 (weekend) and opens as usual on Tuesday, June 19, 2018. There is no continuous trading on the Friday night of June 15, 2018.

6. The Mid-autumn Festival: The Exchange closes on Monday, September 24, 2018 (holiday) and from Saturday, September 22, 2018 to Sunday, September 23, 2018 (weekend). It opens as usual on Tuesday, September 25, 2018. There is no continuous trading on the Friday night of September 21, 2018.

7. The National Day: The Exchange closes on holidays from Monday, October 1, 2018 to Sunday, October 7, 2018 and from Saturday, September 29, 2018 and Sunday, September 30, 2018 (weekend), and opens as usual on Monday, October 8, 2018. There is no continuous trading on the Friday night of September 28, 2018.

All members, designated futures margin depository banks, certified delivery warehouses and investors shall make corresponding arrangements as per this Schedule, carry out effective measures for risk management and jointly safeguard smooth and safe market operation.
