Announcement on Trading Schedule during National Holidays for Year 2016

SUBJECT: Announcement on Trading Schedule during National Holidays for Year 2016

FILING SERIAL: SQGG [2015] No. 14           December 24, 2015

 

The following trading schedule during national holidays for year 2016 is hereby announced by Shanghai Futures Exchange, or the Exchange, pursuant to the Circular on Issues Concerning the Holiday Schedule for Year 2016 (ZJBF [2015] No.88) issued by the General Office of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, or the CSRC:

1. The New Year’s Day: The Exchange closes on holidays from Friday January 1, 2016 to Sunday, January 3, 2016. It opens as usual on Monday, January 4, 2016. There is no continuous trading on the Wednesday night of December 31, 2015.

2. The Spring Festival: The Exchange closes on holidays from Sunday, February 7, 2016 to Saturday, February 13, 2016. It closes on Saturday, February 6 and Sunday, February 14 (weekend) and opens as usual on Monday, February 15, 2016. There is no continuous trading on the Friday night of February 5, 2016.

3. The Tomb-sweeping Day: The Exchange closes on holidays from Saturday, April 2, 2016 to Monday, April 4, 2016, and opens as usual on Tuesday, April 5, 2016. There is no continuous trading on the Friday night of April 1, 2016.

4. The Labor Day: The Exchange closes on Saturday, April 30, 2016 to Monday, May 2, 2016, and opens as usual on Tuesday, May 3, 2016. There is no continuous trading on the Friday night of April 29, 2016.

5. The Dragon Boat Festival: The Exchange closes on holidays from Thursday, June 9, 2016 to Saturday, June 11, 2016. It also closes on Sunday, June 12, 2016 (weekend) and opens as usual on Monday, June 13, 2016. There is no continuous trading on the Wednesday night of June 8, 2016.

6. The Mid-autumn Festival: The Exchange closes from Thursday, September 15 to Saturday, September 17, 2016 (holiday) and Sunday, September 18, 2016(weekend), and opens as usual on Monday, September 19, 2016. There is no continuous trading on the Wednesday night of September 14, 2016.

7. The National Day: The Exchange closes on holidays from Saturday, October 1, 2016 to Friday, October 7, 2016 and from 8 to 9 September, 2016 (weekend), and opens as usual on Monday, October 10, 2016. There is no continuous trading on the Friday night of September 30, 2016.

All members and investors shall make corresponding arrangements as per this Schedule and carry out effective measures for risk management.
