In order to implement the requirements of Notification on Issuance of Amendments to Copper Cathode, Aluminum, Zinc and Natural Rubber Contract Specifications and Related Detailed Delivery Rules (SQJFLZ[2009]No.196), further strengthen the brand registration management with the Exchange of non-ferrous metal products for futures delivery and promote the continual improvement of the quality of registered brands for futures delivery, we hereby decide upon our consideration to cancel the qualifications for generation of standard warrants for copper cathode and unalloyed aluminum ingots for remelting (AL 99.70) brands that are registered at LME and recognized by the Exchange for delivery (excluding the brands registered at the Exchange), as well as for their physical delivery, effective as from the first newly listed contract following issuance of this Notification and the contracts started in the subsequent months.

The already generated standard warrants can still be used for the physical delivery of futures contracts until they are cancelled by their owners.
