Re: Release and Implementation of the SHFE Non-ferrous Metal Delivery Product Registration Guidelines (Revised)
Dear members and registered brand producers,
To enhance the management of futures delivery products, amendments have been made to SHFE Interim Provisions on SHFE Non-ferrous Metal Delivery Product Registration, in accordance with the Trading Rules of the Exchange. The SHFE Non-ferrous Metal Delivery Product Registration Guidelines (Revised) will come into effect as of the date of release.
Overseas producers of copper and aluminum brands, which have been registered at LME and approved by SHFE for delivery, shall submit related registration documents within two years as of the release of the guidelines. Registration qualification will be granted upon the review and recognition by SHFE. All the registration procedures shall be completed within the stipulated time limit; otherwise, it should be regarded as a waiver. Overseas copper or aluminum producer who wants to register its new brands with the Exchange shall act in accordance with the guidelines.
Both domestic and international zinc producers who have applied to the Exchange for brand registration shall submit all the required documents and materials and complete the related procedures as soon as possible.
