A seminar on SHFE listed products was held by Shanghai Futures Exchange, together with CSRC Heilongjiang bureau and Heilongjiang Futures Association.

The seminar echoed the market demand in Northeast China when the area is making its renewed efforts in strengthening up its industrial infrastructure. Against this backdrop, SHFE listed products have gained increasing interest from the metals and rubber corporations in the northeaster area of China. On the seminar, Dr. Zhang Hongmin, a member of oil futures launching team, SHFE, joined the other speakers in talking about the fuel oil futures market and its physical markets. In addition, issues regarding metals, natrual rubber futures and physical markets were also addressed.
