Mr. Robert Engle, 2003 Nobel Economics winner, visited Shanghai Futures Exchange. Mr. HU Zheng, deputy CEO, introduced him the situation and developments of SHFE.

In the talks, Mr. HU said SHFE needed more input from the advanced financial theories in its product development. Mr. Engle was positive to SHFE’s progress and expressed his willingness of offering help.
