SHFE held 2nd session of 2nd board on July 22.The board members, CSRC officials and SHFE executives attended the meeting that was chaired by Madam Wang Lihua, chairperson of the board.

Mr. Jiang Yang, chief executive of SHFE, presented the first half year’s work report mentioning that SHFE has achieved greater progress in market regulation and development, new product research, technology innovation and corporate restructuring.

The statistics show, during first half of this year, the total trading turnover reaches 229.47 trillion yuan, 292% increase year on year. This makes up 53% of the total of domestic futures market.

The board also approved the nine proposed amendments to SHFE’s rules and regulations on risk management.
