Following the Supreme Court’s release of its Regulations on the Ruling of Futures Trading Disputes, SHFE held a seminar on the interpretations of the Regulations on 24 July
The Regulations provide a legal reference for the solution of disputes in futures trading and further defines the rights and obligations of the exchanges.
On the event, the specialists from the Supreme Court delivered a speech to the SHFE staff and part of its members. Officials from judicial sector and CSRC also attended the symposium.
The specialists addressed the following subjects: motives in promulgating the regulation, applicable judicial cases, jurisdiction over cases involving the exchanges, the rights and obligations in the case of overdraft and forced liquidation.
Mr. Hu Zheng, deputy executive president of SHFE, said that SHFE had always attached great importance to the judicial education and would continue to do so.
