With its increasing significance in copper futures trading, SHFE was invited to 2rd CRU World Copper Conference held in Santiago, Chile from April 1 through 3.

Ms Wang Lihua attended the conference and made a presentation titled The Recent Development of SHFE and Prospects for Overseas Expansion . She also exchanged ideas with the officials from world leading exchanges and institutions, including London Metal Exchange and New York Mercantile Exchange.

In her speech, Ms Wang talked about the robust trading activities on SHFE and addressed issues concerning SHFE’s consideration of overseas brands registration and local brokerages’s funding, which aroused much interest among the participants.
