Trading Schedule during National Holidays for Year 2023

Pursuant to the Circular on Issues Concerning the Holiday Schedule for Year 2023 (ZJBF [2022] No.113) issued by the General Office of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (“CSRC”), Shanghai Futures Exchange (“SHFE”) hereby announces the following trading schedule during national holidays for year 2023:

1. New Year’s Day: SHFE will close on holidays from December 31, 2022 (Saturday) to January 2, 2023 (Monday), and will open as usual on January 3, 2023 (Tuesday). There is no continuous trading on December 30, 2022 (Friday).

2. Spring Festival: SHFE will close on holidays from January 21, 2023 (Saturday) to January 27, 2023 (Friday), and will open as usual on January 30, 2023 (Monday). It will also close on January 28, 2023 (Saturday) and January 29, 2023 (Sunday). There is no continuous trading on January 20, 2023 (Friday).

3. Qingming Festival (The Tomb-Sweeping Day): SHFE will close on holidays on April 5, 2023 (Wednesday), and will open as usual on April 6, 2023 (Thursday). There is no continuous trading on April 4, 2023 (Tuesday).

4. The International Workers’ Day: SHFE will close on holidays from April 29, 2023 (Saturday) to May 3, 2023 (Wednesday), and will open as usual on May 4, 2023 (Thursday). It will also close on April 23, 2023 (Sunday) and May 6, 2023 (Saturday). There is no continuous trading on April 28, 2023 (Friday).

5. The Dragon Boat Festival: SHFE will close on holidays from June 22, 2023 (Thursday) to June 24, 2023 (Saturday), and will open as usual on June 26, 2023 (Monday). It will also close on June 25, 2023 (Sunday). There is no continuous trading on June 21, 2023 (Wednesday).

6. The Mid-Autumn Festival and The National Day: SHFE will close on holidays from September 29, 2023 (Friday) to October 6, 2023 (Friday), and will open as usual on October 9, 2023 (Monday). It will also close on October 7, 2023 (Saturday) and October 8, 2023 (Sunday). There is no continuous trading on September 28, 2023 (Thursday).

Relevant parties and investors shall make corresponding arrangements as per this schedule, adopt effective measures for risk management, and jointly ensure the smooth and sound operation of the market.
