To meet the diverse data needs of investors, Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) plans to release level-2 market data (4 snapshots per second at price depth of 5 best bid/ask) in trial operation in the middle or the latter of August. The formal operation will be on the 1st trading day, 2024. The specifics of this arrangement are as follows:

1. Users planning to apply for access to the level-2 market data are requested to make preparations in accordance with the attached guidelines.

2. In order to run the level-2 market data stably, SHFE plans to permit data connection by applicants in two phases from the date of release of this Circular to the end of August this year according to the following schedule. Applications after the end of August, 2023 will be handled on a monthly basis.

Please make the necessary preparations if you plan to apply for and access the level-2 data.
