Shanghai Financial News: SHFE "Futures Lecture Hall" Held in Southwest University of Political Science and Law

Recently, Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) joint School of Economics, Southwest University of Political Science and Law, CHINA FUTURES jointly hosted the “Futures Lecture Hall" activities, more than 120 undergraduate students in School of Economics, Southwest University of Political Science and Law attended the training lectures.
In the lecture, Li Qian, the Assistant of General Manager of CHINA FUTURES introduced the development of the futures industry in China, and offers valuable advice combining with her own career to the students in their future development of the financial sector. Membership Service and Investors Education Department introduced the function of exchange and the important role of futures to serve the real economy, and expound the talent demand of futures industry in the process of economic transformation, encourage the students to be in the futures industry. Through this activity, the students have a more comprehensive understanding of the futures industry, and have a clearer vision of engaging in financial industry in the future.
It is reported that “Futures Lecture hall” is the investor education platform hosted by SHFE, aiming to popularize basic knowledge of futures to the audience and public, introduce the function and role of futures market, also attract talented people into the futures industry and enlarge the popularity and influence of the futures industry. Until now many activities went into colleges and universities.
The relevant principal from SHFE said that they will continue to hold the "Futures Lecture Hall" activities, to strengthen cooperation with local regulatory authority, the futures industry association, finance office, to adopt a variety of ways, special discussion exchange, business training, comprehensive services, through regular, branding investor education activities, to continue to enhance the breadth and depth of supporting the real economy.
