Reuters: The SHFE Adds 4 Products in Continuous Trading Program from Night Trading on Friday

The Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) released relevant notice late on Monday that the China Securities Regulatory Commission has approved its listing for the Continuous Trading Program, or the Night Trading Session, of steel rebar, hot-rolled coils, natural rubber, and bitumen futures products, and these four products will be listed for trading from 21:00 on Friday (December 26).
According to the notice on the official website of the SHFE, the trading hours of continuous trading for steel rebar, hot-rolled coils and bitumen futures are 21:00 to 01:00 of the next day from every Monday through every Friday, and that for natural rubber futures are 21:00 to 23:00 from every Monday through every Friday. And there is no continuous trading on business day prior to any national holiday (excluding weekends).
The SHFE launched gold and silver for the Continuous Trading Program last July and added copper, aluminum, lead, and zinc in the Continuous Trading Program in December of the same year; previously, Dalian Commodity Exchange also launched the Continuous Trading Program for coke, palm oil, soybean meal, and soybean oil. And Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange has also launched the Continuous Trading Program for white sugar, cotton, rapeseed meal, methanol, and PTA (purified terephthalic acid).
