I. Delivery Unit
The contract size for hot-rolled coil futures is 10 metric tons per lot; the delivery unit is 300 metric tons per warrant. Delivery shall be made in integral multiple(s) of the delivery unit.
II. Quality Standards
(I) The quality standards for hot-rolled coils used for physical delivery are as follows:

Q235B hot-rolled coils as prescribed in GB/T 3274-2017: Hot-Rolled Plates and Strips of Carbon Structural Steel and Low-Alloy Structural Steel, or SS400 hot-rolled coils as prescribed in JIS G 3101-2015: Rolled Steel for General Structures, both with a thickness of

(II) Hot-rolled coils used for physical delivery shall also meet other requirements as provided in the Delivery Rules of the Shanghai Futures Exchange and as separately announced by the Shanghai Futures Exchange.
III. Manufacturers and Registered Brands Recognized by SHFE
Hot-rolled coils used for physical delivery shall be of a brand registered with SHFE. The registered brands will be separately specified and announced by SHFE.
IV. Designated Delivery Warehouses
Designated Delivery Warehouses will be specified and separately announced by SHFE.
V. Miscellaneous
The Shanghai Futures Exchange reserves the right to interpret these futures contract specifications.
