Users of the remote trading terminals of the Exchange are connected mainly by specialized SDH, DDH access lines and telephone dial-up. To accommodate the needs of some members inside the
The member _________________________ promises to observe the following regulations:
1. The access network of the member shall be separated from the network of the Exchange.
2. The network shall be used in security and managed by designated personnel. A designated computer shall be used to connect to the remote trading system of the Exchange. No actions that might jeopardize the trading system or other computers in the network should be performed.
3. Before coming into use, the access network should be configured and tested in accordance with the mandate of the Exchange. The testing shall be performed in the non-trading hours after 3:00 pm. After testing, a Shanghai Futures Exchange Member Link Opening Test Report shall be completed, affixed with the official seal and faxed to the IT Center. The access, once activated, shall not be changed at will.
4. The trading software in use shall be strictly tested in accordance with relevant regulations of the Exchange. Any modification of the software shall be reported to the Exchange and re-tested if necessary.
5. If the connection to the trading system fails due to network glitches, it shall be reported to the IT Center of the Exchange, and orders should be placed through floor trading or other means. The Exchange shall deal with the glitches in time but takes on no liability for the losses arising from network glitches.
6. If any breach of the commitments above occurs, the Exchange is entitled to handle it by suspending connection, terminating remote trading seat or other measures.
