Announcement on Distribution of the Amendments to Hot-rolled Coil Contract Specifications of the Shanghai Futures Exchange

In oder to carry out the spirits rasied from the national securities and futures regulatory meeting, promote futures market’s function, better serve the real ecomony, and meet the needs of investors, the Exchange hereby makes amendments to the Hot-rolled Coil Contract Specifications of the Shanghai Futures Exchange. The amended Hot-rolled Coil Contract Specifications of the Shanghai Futures Exchange is reviewed and adopted at the interim meeting of the2nd Board of Directors of the Exchange and reported to the China Securities Regulatory Commission.
In order for the new and existing contract to achieve a smooth transition, the decisions below are made upon our consideration: The amended contract specifications come into force as from 20:55 p.m. on April 27, 2015 (i.e., call auction prior to continuous trading).
