To all members:

The 5th “Training Class for Trader and Settlement & Delivery Clerk” in 2013 is scheduled to be held between December 2nd ~ 21st, 2013, for the purpose of assisting staff from each member in better understanding business knowledge about the transaction, settlement and delivery on the Exchange. This training class will be condcuted through network video and the Exchange’s on-site examination. All members are notified of the following in this regard:

Ⅰ. Training Subject

Staff of members of the Shanghai Futures Exchange

Ⅱ. Training Date

Time-frame for this training class is from December 2nd ~ 21st, including the remote network training between December 2nd ~ 20th and the final examination in the afternoon of December 21st. The examination is in the form of on-site examination.

Ⅲ.Application Procedures

(1) Online Registration

The trainee recommended by the member is required to visit the Exchange’s website （tsite.shfe.com.cn）for online application during the period from December 2nd and 16th, and click the sub-column “ Business Training – Training Application” under the column of “ Investor Education” on the Exchange’s homepage to fill out the Training Application Form for Traders and Settlement & Delivery Clerk (Note: click the “Report” button to see if the webpage is properly displayed. Application will be successful if this page is properly displayed, without the needs to fill out again).

(2) On-site Confirmation

The trainees are required to download the Application Form for Examination (see Appendix 1), and submit to staff at examination room the original Application Form for Examination chopped with the seal of member who made such recommendation and two 1-inch bareheaded photos (trainees who only apply for trader or settlement clerk are required to provide one photo with his or her name on the back only).

Trainees who participate in make-up examination are no longer required to undergo procedures for application. What they need to do is to carry the Registration Form for the Make-up Examination to register his or her attendance on the spot only. All the trainees who participate in the training are not required to pay any fees.

Ⅳ. The Way of Watching the Training Video

To watch the “Series of Training for Traders and Settlement & Delivery Clerk”, “Video Training for Continuous Trading Business” and “Training for Bitumen Futures Series”, please directly access the Exchange’s official website（tsite.shfe.com.cn） to click the “ Video Studio” under the “Shortcut System Navigator” on the homepage , or directly click (http://tsite.shfe.com.cn/content/video/index.html). The PPT files for such courses can be downloaded concurrently. (See Appendix 2 for details about the way of watching these videos).

Ⅴ. On-site Examination

Time for on-site examination (written examination and test by on-computer mock operation): in the afternoon of December 21st.

Location of examination: The Shanghai Futures Exchange (500 Pudian Road, Pudong New Area, Shanghai)

All the trainees are required to carry their ID cards to take the exam. The computer without the function of storage is allowable.

Ⅵ. Reference Materials

In addition to learning materials like videos and PPT for each course, students may also consult the Exchange’s Bylaw, the General Exchange Rules and the Enforcement Rules as well as various operational manual, which can be obtained at the Exchange’s Legal Department and Members Department if required (Address: 22 Floor, SOHO Century Plaza, 288 Xiangcheng Road, Pudong New Area, Shanghai) . Offsite trainees may appoint others to obtain the materials on his or her behalf, or consult the column of “Listing Products” and “Laws and Regulations” on the Exchange’s homepage（tsite.shfe.com.cn）.
